Prince Roger Nelson, the legendary artist known as Prince has passed away at the age of 57. The singer’s body was discovered at his Minnesota compound early this morning, according to TMZ.  Recently fans have been concerned for the singer’s well being after reports that Prince’s plane had to make an emergency landing due to a medical emergency. However, the next day Prince appeared at a concert and assured his fans that he was doing fine and that he had been dealing with the flu.

His long string of hits includes “1999,” “Little Red Corvette,” “When Doves Cry,” “Let’s Go Crazy” “Purple Rain” and “Kiss.”

This is a developing story.

Waynee Wayne just had the privilege of seeing him in concert last month and says,

“Prince was on the top two of my bucket list to see; the other was Michael Jackson and I never got the opportunity to see him. I was blessed to go see Prince last month in Oakland and I was blown away. I knew that he was a great musician but to see him on stage with just a piano and a microphone was amazing. He had the whole arena captivated and even after four encores, people stayed in their seat when the concert was over, wanting more. I’ve never seen an artist single-handedly command a whole arena the way Prince did that night. “

Jay said,

“When I was a kid me and my sister used to argue over who was better, Prince or Michael Jackson? It was like Marvel vs. DC. However in 1989 Prince won me over with his bat dance video (Click Here) because it had Batman in it, DUH! Take that, Michael Jackson.”

Here’s how some of your favorite celebrities reacted on social media.
